DIRECTIONS FOR APPROACH BY CAR

Although it may appear shorter to take the route through town, there is a complicated one-way system and often a lot of congestion. Therefore we suggest that you take the by-pass route as shown on the map above. Approach Penzance via A30, at the first roundabout after the Heliport take the second exit, signposted "Land's End". At the second roundabout go straight across... you will come to a third roundabout, turn left, signposted "Hospital and Harbour". About a half-mile further on you will see a mini-roundabout. Continue straight across the mini-roundabout. A further 100 yards will bring you to a Zebra crossing, a few feet after the Zebra crossing turn right into Clarence Street. The Tarbert Hotel is 100 yards down Clarence Street on the left hand side.

We have a small private car park which operates on a first-come first-served basis. There is ample on-street parking and three public car parks within 50 metres.

DIRECTIONS FOR APPROACH ON FOOT

From the Station walk up through the centre of the town (Market Jew Street), at the top of the street is a large domed building, continue past this to the next set of traffic lights. Turn right into Clarence Street. Though it is only 10 minutes walk from the station it is uphill, so if you have any amount of baggage it is better to take a Taxi. The Taxis always await the trains and are very reasonably priced at around £1.50 to £2.00.
